2012 Greystone Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a crimson red hue. Perfumed aromas of ripe dark cherries, subtle violet and plum arise from the glass followed by some meatiness, anise and spice. Light to medium weight the palate possesses a rich supplely textured flavour profile of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and anise overlaying subtlely toasted cedar and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power wave with a long ripe dark cherry, dark plum, subtle anise and spicy, lightly toasted cedar aftertaste.
