2012 Flametree Shiraz

Aged in seasoned French and American oak. Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red black tinged hue. Youthful ripe blackberry top notes are followed by some liquorice, vanillin confectionary and lightly peppered meatiness. Medium bodied the palate possesses generous blackberry and liquorice flavours over a background of meatiness and spicy vanillin cedar. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and meaty pepper like characters.
