Arboleda' represents the premium tier from the Eduardo Chadwick family of wines. Carmenere is capable of producing bold, flavoursome yet balanced and complex wines. Those from the Caliterra stable are stylistically similar, each sharing a complexing dried leaf / tobacco characteristic that overlays the spicy, ripe fruit notes. It's an unmistakable and unique combination that's prompted critics internationally to conclude of Chilean Carmenère: 'When they're good, there's really nothing else quite like it'.

Combines Power, Richness & Finesse Superbly

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which were new. Outstanding colour displaying a saturated inky black core with a deep dark purple crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherries intermingle with nuances of tobacco, cigar box and spice. Full bodied the palate boasts superb richness and a smooth textural feel delivering mouthfilling ripe blackcurrant flavours intermixed with traces of blackberry and black cherry over a background of tobacco, cedary cigar box and spice. Outstanding length. Velvety well rounded tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, tobacco, cedary cigar box and spice.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

This carmenére has such beautiful aromas of dark fruits, Japanese ginger, wet earth and dried flower undertones. Full body with ultra fine tannins and a gorgeous finish. This is a very cool, cool climate carmenére. Drink now.
