2011 Three Dark Horses Shiraz

Aged in French oak for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red black hue. Lifted liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas arise from the glass followed by some dark chocolate and vanillin oak end notes. Full bodied the palate possesses plenty of ripe blackberry fruit along with some liquorice, vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberry and spicy vanillin oak.
Cellar 2-3 years.
