2011 Grasshopper Rock Earnscleugh Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with crimson hue. The nose shows good intensity with lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries and plum followed by some light toasty oak, anise and spice. Lighter bodied the palate has fleshy flavours of ripe dark cherries and anise with some underlying cedar and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum and spicy toasty oak.
Cellar 3-4 years.
