2010 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple black hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with attractive notes of ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate, confectionary and vanilla. Medium to full bodied the palate is generously flavoured with rich ripe blackberry, liquorice, vanilla and some well integrated toasty oak. Plush soft mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe blackberry, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.

Make no mistake, this aristocratic wine is far removed from the standard varietal release. The complex, spicy black fruits of the bouquet command immediate attention, and the textured layers of flavour on the palate build on the bouquet, with black fruits, spice and oak all contributing to a very impressive wine. Drink by 2030.
