2009 Geoff Weaver Lenswood Ferus Sauvignon Blanc
Geoff Weaver’s Ferus Sauvignon Blanc is fermented with wild yeast in French oak barriques and aged on it’s yeast lees for 12 months.Bright, pale straw colour with watery hue. Top notes of citrus and green apple are followed by some subtle gooseberry and spice. Mouthfilling flavours of green apple and citrus are followed by some herbal gooseberry and mineral characters. Good mouthfeel with clean, crisp, dry finish. Medium to long aftertaste of green apple, gooseberry, citrus and mineral.
