Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Pronounced liquorice and dark plum aromas overlay a hint of dried apricot, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Rich and very supple in the mouth the palate features generous ripe dark plum and liquorice allsorts flavours with a background of lightly smoked vanillin cedar and spice. Polished, silky smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long finish of spicy dark plum, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar and faint leather.
