2009 Blackjack Block 6 Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour with a very dark crimson black hue. The nose exhibits lifted liquorice and dark plum aromas followed by some toasty vanillin oak, a subtle meatiness and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous dark plum and liquorice flavours to the fore followed by some toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice. Very fine grained almost velvety tannins with a long aftertaste of liquorice, dark plum, toasty vanillin oak and spicy earth.
