This extravagant Shiraz is a testament to what Barossa does best. Matured in a combination of new and older French oak for 2 years and bottled without fining or filtration.

(Tasted in 2009) A voluptuous beauty - another stunning new release from one of Australia's finest Shiraz producers.
Magnificent black crimson red colour with black crimson hue – totally opaque. The nose delivers aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice allsorts and confectionary followed by a smoky toasted oak overlay. The palate is a super concentrate of flavour with power to burn. Voluptuous flavours of blackberry, dark plum, spice, mocha and confectionary with smoky toasted oak in the background. Velvet smooth tannins provide the wine with a supple opulent texture. Outstanding depth of flavour with very long persistent aftertaste of dark ripe plum, confectionary, blackberry, spice and toasted oak.
