This Chardonnay seems to be too contrived. Pale straw colour with waterlike hue. Lifted nose of cinnamon and butterscotch followed by spicy oak, melon and peach. The butterscotch flavours component is too pronounced, with cinnamon and spice following. Hints of melon and peach emerge on the back palate. Warm spicy finish, with aftertaste of cinnamon, spice, melon and butterscotch.
