‘A Superb re-release that is a prime example of bottle aged Barossa Shiraz possessing magnificent richness and power’

The colour of this wine is holding up exceptionally well displaying a totally opaque black dark red core with a dark purple red black tinged hue. Intense aromas of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate waft from the glass followed by vanillin oak, a faint whiff of earth and spice. Full bodied, opulently rich and still remarkably fresh the palate delivers bold supplely textured flavours of liquorice and blackberries intermixed with dark chocolate over a vanillin oak background with a spicy finish and a faint hint of leather also present. Outstanding depth, balance and concentration. Velvet smooth tannins with a very long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and subtle spicy leather. Limited stocks.
